Community organizing, collective power-building, and civic engagement are central to AFRICOM’s work. AFRICOM strengthens its own capacity and that of immigrant-led grassroots organizations to expand civic participation among immigrant and refugee communities and address systemic barriers to social, economic, and political justice.
