Many immigrant and refugee families settle in the United States particularly in the Greater Philadelphia area, in search of better educational opportunities for their children. AFRICOM’s Education and Culture Program connects these families with local school districts and works with school boards and other stakeholders to remove systemic barriers to educational access.
